Enjoy a beautiful train ride through the beautiful Sacred Valley along the Urubamba River to the cause down to the cloud forests where they are hiding the beautiful city of Machu Picchu. Explore this beautiful Inca city, full of fine buildings carved in stone, enjoying spectacular scenery with huge mountains and glaciers. Within this beautiful city you can visit the famous temple of the sun and the moon, the archaeological complex of the three windows, the Temple of the Condor and in the big top Intiwatana or the famous sundial.
3:40 to 9:30 a.m. You will be collected from your hotel by a company representative and is then transferred to the train station Poroy or Ollantaytambo to catch the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (a small town near the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu). The train journey takes about 4 hours and offers spectacular scenery on the journey that combines mountains and jungle. The train descends to the height of 2100 meters in the direction of the river Urubamba. Undoubtedly this is one of the most spectacular rides that we have in Peru. We recommend bringing some food for this trip. We arrived in Aguas Calientes, a company representative and then waiting to take the bus station to the top of the ruins of Machu Picchu. The bus ride lasts about 20 minutes, and offers breathtaking views during his tour of the Urubamba River, as well as huge mountains that surround Machu Picchu. Finally, we arrived at the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where our local guide will take us a tour of the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel. Later you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Around 1:00 p.m. we will be taking the bus to take us back to Aguas Calientes. Lunch at Aguas Customers and the afternoon return to Cusco by train (5 pm 6. Pm. Approx.) Trip to the Cusco takes about 4 hours. On arrival in Cusco is estimated at 9 p.m. Approx. arrival transfer to your designated hotel.
