Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Cloud Forest – Pona Lodge

Your journey begins as you depart Cusco by private bus, ascending into the high Andes. You’ll visit the pre-Inca ruins of Ninamarka and cross the Acjanaco Pass, the scenic gateway to Manu National Park. The descent takes us into the magical Cloud Forest, where we witness the breathtaking courtship dance of the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock (Rupicola peruviana), the national bird of Peru. Day 2: Atalaya Port – Madre de Dios River – Tapir Hide Vigil
