Humantay Lake Full Day (Trek)

A full-day tour to Humantay Lagoon generally begins very early, between 4:00 and 5:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and travel to Mollepata. During the trip, we will stop for a typical breakfast. After breakfast, we will take the transport again to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. The hike to Humantay Lagoon is an ascent of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from Soraypampa (3,800 meters above sea level) to Humantay Lagoon (4,200 meters above sea level). At the lagoon, we will have free time to enjoy the turquoise landscape surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Salkantay and Humantay. After appreciating and enjoying the scenery of the lagoon, we will return to Soraypampa and then to Mollepata for lunch. Our tour will end with the return to Cusco between approximately 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM (late evening).
