We booked online where the website Manu green planet advised that the group size was 5 people one family and us, our tour guide the jungle girls Clotilde which I would highly recommend! in our tour we saw many poisonous frog in nocturnal activities and animals in the jungle she brought us to incredible places in the jungle in which we saw exotic wildlife such as birds (tucans), snakes, mammals (capybara), and so on. He was extremely knowledgeable on all species in the jungle and made sure we were all safe and having fun and incredible food with our chef Cirilo.
Manu is a beautiful, remote, lush rainforest and is definitely a MUST for your Peru trip, I would say it’s a hidden gem and is a bit less tourist to other destination.

We did the 3 day / 2 night trek with our guide Clotilde, our horseman and Hernán and Basilio. The walk, the landscape is really beautiful and an experience that I will never forget. Basilio and Hernán had all the equipment to spend the night with them and always provided us with very good food.
This trek is physically very demanding. We walk 3 to 7 hours a day. Therefore, altitude acclimatization is absolutely recommended before this trek because there are several mountain passes at 5m.a.s.l. We organized our packages with the Manu Green planet agency who was very explicit in all the recommendations from how to start and get to the mountain of colors

we took the 4d/3n tour with Clotilde on first time by internet. She was give very clear information and very helpful and also practice mine Spanish during all travel with all staff, tour guide David was very knowledge, the chef, Luis, prepared delicious Peruvian and jungle food. The drivers, Oscar drive very safely and Manu Green planet team have very good service and all enjoy their work. We felt like at home.
Also thanks to Clo, we saw many animals. Probably it is worth to stay more days to see more variety.
The Papaya Eco lodges are comfortable, quiet and very clean and careful to much monkeys.
